These terms apply when you use Tareo and its tools. Effective September 25, 2026.
The service
Free tools, no account.
Guido Cattabianchi runs Tareo. The tools are free and need no account. You may use the numbers and documents they produce in your business. Do not try to disrupt the site or overload it with automated requests.
Results are estimates
Check a number before you rely on it.
Calculators use the formulas and defaults shown on each page, such as waste allowances, bag yields and paint coverage. Material needs, prices, taxes, overtime rules and mileage rates depend on your job and your location. Check them before you order, quote or pay.
Tareo does not give legal, tax, accounting or engineering advice.
Your data and documents
They stay with you.
What you enter is saved in your browser on your device. Keep your own copies. Clearing browser data deletes it.
You own the quotes, invoices and other documents you make. Each one carries a small "Made with Tareo" line.
No warranty and limit of liability
The legal limits on what Tareo owes you.
Tareo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and availability.
To the extent the law allows, Guido Cattabianchi is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits, or losses caused by errors in results. Total liability for any claim is limited to $100.
Governing law and changes
Which law applies and how the terms change.
California law governs these terms. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in California.
New terms appear on this page with a new effective date. Using Tareo after that means you accept them.
